3D Volume Rendering Technique (VRT) reconstruction from CT scans of the swimbladder (related publication) and otoliths of an Indo-Pacific (Redcoat) Squirrelfish (Sargocentron rubrum.). The swim bladder is a gas filled organ that facilitates buoyancy control while the otoliths are used to sense gravity and linear acceleration.
