Atlantic White-sided Dolphin Fetus 0003

3D Shaded Surface Display (SSD) reconstruction from CT scans of a whole fetal Atlantic White-sided Dolphin (Lagenorhynchus acutus). The mother of this fetus stranded along the coast of Buzzards Bay, Cape Cod, Massachusetts. This near term fetus was spontaneously aborted on stranding and was stillborn (related report).
