3D Volume Rendering Technique (VRT) reconstructions (ventral - left and dorsal - right views) from CT scans of the head of and adult male Hippopotamus (Hippopotamus amphibius) demonstrating severe proliferative osteolysis from chronic infection in both the maxillae and mandibles particularly adjacent to the tusks.
