3D Shaded Surface Display (SSD) reconstruction from CT scans of an inflated larynx from a Northern Right Whale (Eubalaena glacialis). An ovoid plastic balloon was inserted into the laryngeal cavity and filled with air. CT scans were performed while the larynx was inflated.
